It was a vicious day on the lanes today at the Willamette Valley Baker. Teams battled 20 consecutive games to win their points then an additional four games based on a position round. After all that, it came down to a four-way tie which we then had to go to pins for the win. February's Willamette Valley Baker Tournament was filled with some tough competition and fun! In first place was Tawnya's Volunteers for $1500, in 2nd place we had the Machin Mafia $1000 and in 3rd place we had #BatShitCrazy $600. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated. Next month's tournament will be March 17th can we still have a few spots available.

Come support Future Business Leaders of America this coming Sunday from 4-6pm. We have just a few spots left. 50% of proceeds are going to help these creative minds compete at their next big competition representing Silverton High! Lots of prizes up for grabs. Come on down and play!

Time to Celebrate! The Girls High School Bowling Team is going on to compete at State! Silverton High and co-oped Molalla High School Girls took 1st place at Districts this weekend with a 654 pin lead in the initial 20 game qualifier and over a 100 pin lead in the 2 game eliminator! Three of our Girls placed in the top 5 of All Stars: 1st Madi Burton, 2nd Korina Chadwick and 3rd Cassie Rooke. Madi Burton took the title of MVP for the 2nd year in a row! We are off and running for the second day of the Queen's State USBC Tournament. Good luck and good bowling ladies!

Thank you to all who participated in the Willamette Valley Baker Tournament today at Silver Creek Lanes. We paid out almost $2,000 in prize funds. We started out with 16 Baker games, then cut to the top 8 teams based on pinfall, then to the top four teams. In first place we had Team Fireballers with Tim Berkey, Kyle Belcher, Doug Clydesdale, Harley White, and Robert Duvernet. In second place was South Pacific Tire Pros with Wally Darling, Josh Sim, Isaac Draeger, Matthew Draeger, and Will Draeger. In third place we had Terry's guys with Terry Diarmit, Jim Collins, Matt Schoenheit, Jim Roth and Jim Wallace. And in fourth place we had Team Insomnia with Debbie Sayre, Sean Cronk, Matt Maloney, Mariano Altheide, and Dan Skorniak. Next tournament is February 17th and will be based on a match point system. There is still one team spot available.

There is one team opening on January's Tournament and we have started taking reservations for February. This Month's Baker is changed up a little with a point system.
